  • Presley Elvis - Southbound 2LP + CD (Blue Vinyl) (LP)

Macon Coliseum, Macon Georgia : August 31, 1976

Now available on vinyl: SOUTHBOUND, originally released in 1998 and featuring the August 31 1976 show from Macon Georgia. The 7th tour of 1976 is not known as being the best tour in Elvis’ career. During this particular show Elvis appeared demotivated. He was definitely struggling to get to the end of this engagement. Most likely the crowd never even noticed this as they go wild like always as Elvis delivered a mediocre performance.

Still, it’s a part of Elvis’ career that deserves a release on vinyl.

22 years after the original CD release it is time for a high quality re-release of this performance. For the very first time this show is now available on a high quality double vinyl set.

The show is newly remastered and updated in the best way possible!  This release is very limited and is available in RED or BLUE vinyl presented in a gatefold sleeve. And of course the show is included on CD too.

For now this is the last reissue in the Luxor classic reissue series. But………… be ready for some nice surprises in the near future.
Get it while you can and add this awesome LUXOR product to your collection.

  • Presley Elvis - Blue Hawaii (Super audio CD) (CD)

Viimeisen päälle hyvät soundit. Numbered / ltd 3000 copies! HUOM! Soi kaikilla CD soittimilla

The old adage about Elvis Presley is that his soundtrack work never held a candle next to his studio albums. Though true for a majority of his film-related outings, the traditional notion is forever disproved by his Blue Hawaii set. Originally released in 1961 in support of the film in which he starred, the triple-platinum LP spent nearly five months at the top of the Billboard album charts; outsold his two prior studio efforts; and remains the second-best-selling soundtrack of the musical-dominant 1960s. Presley plunges into a stylistic deep end with equal parts fearlessness and fun, delving into early rock ‘n’ roll, touching balladry, playful rumbas, and relaxing islandinspired fare. The music serves as a showcase of Presley’s outgoing personality and chameleon-like ability – like that of Frank Sinatra – to inhabit different roles and entertain.

Mastered from the original master tapes, Mobile Fidelity’s 180g 45RPM 2LP set and hybrid SACD of Blue Hawaii transport listeners to both the carefree innocent escapism of the early ‘60s and calming, breezy atmospherics of the famous Pacific Islands. If you’ve ever wondered what it might be like to have Presley inhabit your room, these collectible reissues makes it happen via lifelike presence, clarity, immediacy, and transparency. The newly uncovered layers of detail, body, emotionalism, and tonality bring the singer’s treasured voice – as well as the brilliance of the arrangements and accompaniment – to light like never before. In every way, it is a sonic treatment befitting rock royalty.

  • Presley Elvis - Another Saturday Night-Shreveport 1975 (CD)

If one place is to be picked as the most important in the career of Elvis Presley, it is without doubt Shreveport in the northwest part of Louisiana. The exposure that Elvis got through the radio broadcast of The Louisiana Hayride in 1954-56 was one of the key factors of establishing the early part of his career. With the exception of Las Vegas, there is no place where Elvis played more shows, and his return to the city in 1975 was like a homecoming to both Elvis and the many fans he had there since he started out. We have chosen to release the soundboard from the evening show of June 7 – definitely a show that Elvis and the audience truly enjoy, and with a great set list featuring old and new favourites. The CD comes in a 5 digipack with an eight-page booklet featuring photos from the June 1975 tour. * Mid-South Coliseum, Memphis. June 10th 1975, A/S

    ** Municipal Auditorium, Mobile. June 2nd 1975, A/S

*** University of Alabama Coliseum, Tuscaloosa. June 3rd 1975, E/S”

  • Presley Elvis - An American Trilogy (CD)

An American Trilogy contains Las Vegas Concert Recordings from the January/February 1972 Engagement. This quarter’s regular 5″ digipack release covers Elvis’ engagement at The Las Vegas Hilton in January-February, 1972. RCA did not record entire shows, and several of the new songs Elvis had added to his shows were only recorded once. The consequence is that the main body of the CD – the RCA recordings – feature several previously released versions. Soundboard (informal) recordings of other song performances during the engagement were added to the end of the disc in order to make this as representative as possible of Elvis repertoire at that time.

Unique performances; It’s Impossible, It’s Over, The Impossible Dream, A Big Hunk O’ Love, Until It’s Time For You To Go, One Night, and I’ll Remember You.

  • Presley Elvis - Pot Luck Sessions 5CD Boxset (CD)

Jälleen kerran viimeisen päälle komia julkaisu.

FTD’s acclaimed series continues with one of the most commercially successful recording sessions of Elvis’ career THE POT LUCK SESSIONS. It is without doubt the ultimate triumph for Hill & Range’s song plugger Freddy Bienstock. Superbly crafted hits like “Little Sister”, (Marie’s The Name) His Latest Flame”, “Good Luck Charm” and She’s Not You” dominated pop charts throughout the world in the early ‘60s and Elvis’ flawless performances accompanied by Nashville’s finest musicians still resonate today some 60 years later.

If “Easy Question”, “Suspicion” “I’m Yours” and “Kiss Me Quick” had been released as 45 rpm singles during this fertile period, and not years after, undoubtably each could have matched the chartbusting success of the others.

This remastered 5-CD boxed set includes a 28-page booklet featuring an insightful essay, rare photographs, memorabila, and recording data.

A Boy from Tupelo – The Complete 1953-1955 Recordings includes on 3 CDs every surviving Elvis Presley Sun master and outtake, plus two private records Elvis paid with his own money to record, as well as all known radio- and concert performances from the period. Independence Day 1954 is when this uniquely American saga begins, less than 24 hours before his first professional recording session, and it ends in December 1955, when the rights to Elvis’ Sun tapes officially expire and the singer leaves Sam Phillips and Sun Records to record for RCA Victor.

  • Jani Matti Juhani - laulaa Elvistä suomeksi vol. 2 (CD)

Lopulliset silaukset albumille tuovat vierailijat, joita kuullaan lähes jokaisella albumin raidalla.”
