If there’s one thing that sets this band’s output from the current crop of UK Neo-Rockabilly bands, it’s their ability to mix in a feel of mid-Sixties British ’Pop/R&B’, and very pleasing musical mix emerges. This stuff is just so danceable and radio friendly, it’s surprising that one of the major labels hasn’t picked up on these guys. Wailing harmonica, ’chug-a-lug’ guitar, elements of Johnny Kidd and The Pirates, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry and the Blue Cats all merge into a wonderfully pleasurable experience. It’s hard to believe that these guys did not live through the period that they capture so well!
