This Houston band consists of four aggressively traditional-minded musicians and in true Texas style, they bring together musical backgrounds ranging from country honky-tonk to rock to blues. The songs on this second CD, which is their Hightone Records debut, are primarily originals, ranging from honky-tonk shuffles, swamp pop, and a murder ballad to a good dose of Texas roots rock. Produced by noted Austin guitarist Casper Rawls of the Leroi Brothers.
