Charlie Hightone And The Rock-It's - Breaking Up The Charts / Once In A Blue Moon (Double EP) (7 single/EP)

You have in your hands a couple of very special platters. Two of our recording sessions that, for one reason or another, we thought should come to light again.

Is a little piece of wax that contains four wonders. Each track has its own style and strength, which, due to life circumstances, didn’t get the chance to be heard as much as they deserved due to the very dark time in which they came to light. It’s a labor of love in which we had the immense luck of collaborating with our compadres the Velvet Candles and was masterfully recorded by Maximo Bandera in Hollers Analog Studio with Mark Polza in charge of designing the visual magic .

What can be said about this album that hasn’t already been
said. We owe that record a large part of who we are today . Its tracks are still in demand to this day and I think we owe you all an opportunity to get hold of them so that you can enjoy these already contemporary classics at all the record hops around our little world.
Thirteen years separate these recordings. Years in which, always, behind the scenes (in the fishbowl, rather), I have been able to count on the invaluable and eternal help of my brother Ely Agramunt. 13 years which have filled my heart with pieces of people as beautiful as Emilio Sioux Juan Fresneda Adolfo Ruiz or my dear Richard Cuenca. And what to say about my BROTHERS! Pepe Lee and Javier Sarmentero, two very special people in my life now and who will remain so forever. Or the monster Pascal Guimbard, a generous, loveable guy and a growing friendship I hope to have for many years to come. It’s an honor and I feel lucky to work with them.
