* This is the fifth and last volume in Ace’s Fats Domino singles series, covering all his A & B sides. This CD covers the final Imperial period just as Fats was cooling off chartwise and includes the final Imperial 45s issued after he left Imperial for ABC-Paramount. This body of Fats’ work is the least reissued period of all but contains many gems.

* In addition, Ace have included two excellent bonus tracks from 1963, following on from the tradition set up on Volumes 1 and 2 only available on his Just Domino” LP.

* Fats Domino has a bigger profile than ever following Hurricane Katrina. He and Dave Bartholomew were honoured by the Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame in November last year. Today Fats’ name is up there with the great surviving exclusive members’ club of rock’n’roll legends. In fact, Fats Domino could be considered for the role of original rock’n’roller.

* His `The Fat Man’ was a hit record in 1950, and this series has happily followed each and every Imperial single released by Fats until 1964. Fans of the first four in the series will not want to miss this last volume.
