When Marvin returned to Britain in 1975 and 1976 he recorded 2 LPs for Westwood Records. Besides the title track Rock Me, it also includes his re-recording of I Dig You Baby which he initially also recorded in England for MGM. Other outstanding songs are I Saw A Bluebird Today, Indian Momma, Proud Mary, Rock Me and Blue Valley.

11 of the 22 songs were previously issued as ’Especially For You’ (WRS 101), the remaining songs were planned as WRS 168, but not issued.
