Like Elvis, Hayden Thompson – ”The South’s Most Versatile SInger” – was born in North-Eastern Mississippi but was discovered in Memphis, Tennessee, by Sam Phillips, who quickly signed him to the Sun company.

The tracks on side A of this EP are Hayden’s own compositions while, on the flip, he tackles songs made famous by Jonathan Craig and Little Junior Parker, respectively.
