Deltas - Mad For It (CD)
€15,00The long awaited CD release of The Deltas’ second studio album Mad For It.
Includes 4 bonus tracks from the long deleted vinyl only You Can’t Judge A Book EP.
The Deltas were the wildest of the new breed of Rockabilly bands which took the scene by storm in the early 1980s, prior to the birth of Psychobilly.
Along with The Polecats, Restless, and The Bluecats, The Deltas returned the youthful energy that had been missing from Rockabilly music since it’s first erupted in the mid 1950s.
Their first album established the trio a huge fanbase of young Rockabillies worldwide, but by the time this second album was released on ID Records, the line-up had swelled to a 5-piece with ex-Polecats (and now Morrissey) guitarist Boz Boorer joining the ranks.
Mad For It is an altogether more diverse and sophisticated affair then their previous output.
It wasn’t what their fanbase was expecting, but is now widely regarded as their best ever release.
This is the first time on CD for Mad For It, the original vinyl version being unavailable for many years.
As an added bonus their You Can’t Judge A Book EP (a rare and long deleted limited edition vinyl-only release) is included too.
The package is presented in a smart digipack case. -

Matchbox - Settin` The Woods On Fire (CD)
€15,00Legendaarinen toka albumi. Eka levy jossa Graham Fenton on laulajana. Viimeisen päälle loistava albumi!Matchbox are probably Britain’s most commercially successful Rockabilly band, having scored a string of hit records in the early 1980’s with songs like ’Rockabilly Rebel’, ’Midnight Dynamos’, ’When You Ask About Love’ and ’Buzz Buzz A Diddle It’. After playing on Britain’s Rock ’n’ Roll scene for a few years in the late 70’s, they replaced original singer Wiffle Smith with the more charismatic Graham Fenton, and soon their Rockabilly sound was climbing high in the charts around the World! ’Settin’ The Woods On Fire’ is perhaps the most important Matchbox album. Neutronz - Knucklehead (CD)
€15,00The Neutronz follow on from their storming debut release Killer On The Loose in style.Knucklehead is a little harder-edged, mixing elements of ’50s and 80s Rockabilly with some Rockin’ Psychobilly and a bit of Blues Bop too.The emphasis is on original material, but there are a couple of familiar cover songs too.The Neutronz, however, excel on self-penned material, where their own original ideas blend with echoes of the great Neo-Rockabilly bands of the 1980s.This is an outstanding band, and people are discovering via their albums and their many live appearances.
