Hold On Tight - Till The Curtain Falls (Käytetty CD)
€7,50After the vinyl-EP ”Choo Choo Rockabilly” (2012) and winning the Authenticity Award at Rockabilly Rumble 2014 in Pullman City, a longplay album was recorded in 2015, which now is released on Part Records.
Among the 15 songs are only two cover songs – the other 13 are own compositions. The lyrics are not only about the genre-typical women’s issues, but also process their own experiences, and historical wild west issues. -
Louisville Boppers - Howlin’ To The Moonlight (LP)
€20,00It is said that good things come to those who wait. And yes, here it is! After long nights of texting, hard months of rehearsing and two visits to the studio, we are happy to present to you now, in 2018, the second album of the LOUISVILLE BOPPERS – HOWLIN` TO THE MOONLIGHT!
The LOUISVILLE BOPPERS are a Rockabilly Trio coming from the town of Friedrichshafen in the South of Germany, currently consisting of the father and son team Tom (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Fabi Reder (vocals, lead guitar) as well as Matt ”Marshall” Uhl on double bass.
Founded in 2010 the band quickly started to conquer the stages in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. The band has already shared the stage with Crazy Cavan, played at well-known venues like The Trash Town Rockabilly, Rockabilly Big Bowl or could be seen and heard at the Big Rhythm Rumble or the Rockabilly Bombardment.
The debut album LOUISVILLE NIGHTS – recorded at Running Gun Recordings and released as an own production in 2013 – came along with 10 self-composed, authentic and absolutely straight mid-50s crackers.
HOWLIN’ TO THE MOONLIGHT, partly continuing this tradition, was recorded at Black Shack Recordings in two sessions from 12/2017-04/2018.
Arranged in classic Rockabilly style the songs ”Big Boppin’ Daddy” (also on Rocket Launch Vol. #2, Rhythm Bomb Records), ”Circle Round The Moon”, ”Truck Drivin’Man” or ”Rosa Lee” might be inspired by the early Sun Records, Johnny Burnette or Jerry Reed, but they are unmistakeably pure LOUISVILLE BOOPERS sound.
But already the intro ”Whooper Snooper” and the following ”Run Through The Jungle” leave no doubt that this time the guys have upped the ante. These two songs plus some more little gems have been refined by Rockin’ Bende on drums – like the two hardcore boppers ”Meanest Thing” and ”Rockin’ Rolla Mama” (also released on 7″ Vinyl by MIGRAINE).
On the other hand there are the slightly calmer and more melancholic ”Mighty Fine Woman” and the bonus track ”I’m Gone (Honky Tonkin’)” which are accompanied by Simi Fässler on slide guitar.
The motto of this record was: just killers, no fillers! It took its time but the result is impressive: an unforced and independent mix of 12 own an 4 covered red hot Rockabilly, Blues Bop and Honky Tonk tracks which completely embody the preferences and the character of the LOUISVILLE BOPPERS. So GRAB IT!!

Edwardian Devils - Damned To Teddyboy / We Belong Together / Sleepwalk (7 single/EP)
€10,90Two tracks, straight from hell – appetizers for the upcoming debut album of the EDWARDIAN DEVILS, pressed on hot PART RECORDS vinyl. The original song ”Damned To Teddyboy” on side A comes directly off band mastermind KING D.evil’s pitchfork, and it will make you want to sing along and grab another beer. The flipside presents a medley inspired by legendary English teddyboy band THE ROCKIN’ DEVILS: a soulful ballad by gone too soon RITCHIE VALENS, ”We Belong Together”, is mashed up with instrumental favorite ”Sleepwalk”. Recorded, mixed and mastered at guitarist HOWLIN’ T.empter’s home studio.
When KING D.evil (former guitarist and singer of the KING EDWARD TEDS) started the EDWARDIAN DEVILS Facebook page in 2014, he did not expect that one day there would be a band by the same name, nor that his page would quickly surpass the 1000 followers mark. ”I just wanted to share my passion for the Teddyboy subculture with some friends – cool videos of bands I love, and photos of wild guys who know how to dress properly. The name came from our former KING EDWARD TEDS rhythm guitarist. As a teenager, he had gotten a tattoo of the devil, and the legend “EDWARDIAN DEVILS”. At that time I already thought that this would make a perfect name for a band. That was about 25 years ago – hah – rock’n’roll will never die!”.
After a rehearsal with his rockabilly band KING D & THE ROYALS OF RHYTHM (which also includes guitar player HOWLIN’ T.empter and drummer JT.hor SLINGER), KING D came up with a brilliant idea: ”Our drummer JT always talked about how much he liked band trios. So I put two and two together, and asked him and our guitar player HOWLIN’ T what they would think of forming a TEDDYBOY trio. They were HELLishly excited; I took over the bass, and we started! ”. Pretty soon they played their first concerts in Germany and abroad, appeared at international festivals, and opened for BLACK RAVEN in their hometown Vienna. The three devils recorded their first songs single-handedly, and PART RECORDS from Germany immediately signed them.
”We love classic Rock’n Roll, including its roots, like Sountry, as well as the spin-off genres, like Surf-Rock. In contrast to the current purist trend, we are also really into the so-called “revival” bands from the 70s till today, and try to include all these influences in our sound and styling. First and foremost, we want to have a good time with our audience. Everybody who enjoys our music and wants to have a beer with us, is welcome at our gigs – no matter what kind of pants or shoes he or she wears”, KING D concludes.
KING D.evil – Vocals & Bassguitar
HOWLIN’ T.empter – Backing Vocals & E-Guitar
JT.hor SLINGER – Backing Vocals & Drums -
Western Spaghetti Meet Benny - Tintarella Di Luna / La Scuola Del Ritmo (7 single/EP)
€8,00Luky drinks his beer and wonders, ”How would italian music of the 30s, 40s and 50s have been when artists like Natalino Otto, Alberto Rabagliati, Trio Lescano and even he himself were born in other areas like Texas, Tennessee or Oklahoma. Luky, awakening from that dream and wishing to answer that question, thought,” A man has to do what a man has to do. ”But also that he had drank too much last night ?
A handful of men who, according to the legend, are ready for anything, have gathered, but maybe they just have nothing better to do. Our Luky threw pot songs like Maramao Perché Be Morto, La Classe Degli Asini and some other songs that no one had ever heard before, adding western swing, country and rockabilly to them. The result is an appetizing plate of Western Spaghetti, which can be enjoyed with an excellent Chianti.
The Single was recorded in a small but fine studio in Bassano del Grappa. This time, they decided to release on vinyl instead of CD. The two songs on this single are not planned for an album. However, one plays with the idea to publish several such singles with guest musicians to make an attractive collector’s box. For this album, the gifted saxophone player Benny could be won, who is mainly involved in ”The Good Fellas” and other projects like ”The Indians”. The work on the second single is already in full swing. For this, the Western Spaghetti are already in the studio with the musicians Doc Puky (Ray Collins Hot Club) and Franny Lee (Marcel Bontempi / Snake Oil Company). The anticipation is so great!
The Venetian band has already recorded two CDs with the German label Part Records in 2010 and 2017 and has performed at major international festivals, including: the Summer Jamboree (Italy), the Walldorf Rock’n’Roll Weekender (Germany), the Brandenburger Rockabilly Meeting (Germany), the Rockabilly Bombardment (Austria), the Rhythm Riot (England) and the Blue Monday Festival (France).
